Our house, a penthouse (called Attic in Spain), is located in one of the most important streets of Havana in the neighborhood of Vedado. The Cuban upper middle class settled there in the earliest days of the 20th century building large mansions of varied styles. The neighbourhood grew and was modernized until the last years of 1950.     

The construction of our building dates as far back as 1951 and our house is on the 5th floor. Some prefer the elevator to get to the house; others just go up the wide and comfortable stairs. The house has a panoramic view of the city because the building is located on a high place.    

The entire house is more than 300 square meters and has wide rooms and terraces with abundant vegetation, with areas of sun and shade as preferred.  In our terrace there is the chance of enjoying a good sunbathe. From all rooms and areas of the house there is a view of the city and the sea as well.

The house has two levels. The first level consists of wide terraces and rooms, a kitchen- dinning-room and two rooms, each with a bathroom, for rental. On the second level the landlord’s rooms are located.  

• Each room has double bedrooms, hot and cold water, air conditioning,
  minibar and TV.
• Everyday the rooms are tidied, and the linen is changed.
• There is a free access to the house; guests get a key on their arrival.
• Breakfast and laundry services are offered.
• All local phone calls are free of charge.Casual sex visitors are not allowed.

The guests should inform the landlord if he/she has a boy/girlfriend in the city to register him/ her in the guest book. The landlord may deny access to the house if considered. Access is also denied to visitors under the age of 18. Please do not get upset when told such underage visitors are not allowed. We are just looking after your security as well as ours.
